James B. Griffis is Vice President of Business Development of Five States Energy Capital, LLC. Mr. Griffis received a BBA in Finance from Texas A&M University (2000) and a MBA in Finance from the University of St. Thomas (2005). Prior to joining Five States in 2008, Mr. Griffis spent four years working for JPMorgan in Private Banking in Houston and Dallas, and Investment Banking (Syndicated & Leveraged Finance) in New York. Previously he was a financial analyst with Merrill Lynch. He is a member of the Independent Petroleum Association of America where he serves on the Capital Markets committee; and he serves on the Membership committee of the Dallas Petroleum Club.
